![]() OrganistA native of Brunswick, Myra graduated from Glynn Academy. She then graduated from Wesleyan College in Macon with a degree in music, focusing primarily on organ. She taught private piano and organ lessons here and in Nashville, Tennessee. She also served on the staff of Cadek Conservatory in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Myra has served as an organist continually since she was fourteen years old. She played soprano/tenor recorders with Sweet Record, an early music group, and currently plays tin whistle with the authentic Irish band, Malarkey. She is learning to play the Irish Folk Harp. Myra has served as organist at First Presbyterian Church for about fourteen years. Her husband is Monte Korb, an engineer and owner of Korb Engineering. |
