Manna House
Our church provides lunch at Manna House on the first Wednesday of every month. If you'd like to volunteer, please call the church office at 912-265-3400.

Manna House Volunteers Manna House is a local "soup kitchen" type ministry that feeds needy people in our community. It is located at 1408 G Street in Brunswick (on the corner of G Street and MLK Blvd.) Different churches and community organizations provide support for the ministry. Our church is responsible for the meal on the first Wednesday of each month. Our church members prepare and serve a good, hot meal of hot dogs, baked beans, homemade macaroni and cheese, bread, dessert, and drinks.

Volunteers begin arriving at Manna House at about 10:30 a.m. to begin preparing the mid-day meal. Some people who cannot be there in time to cook will come to help serve or clean up. With the recent hardships many people have experienced, the number of people coming to eat has grown. Our church often serves as many as 175 people. Our volunteers are very committed to this ministry, saying that they find satisfaction in knowing that they are providing a good meal for hungry people. If you would like to be involved in this ministry, please call the church office (265-3400) for more information.
