About FPC

First Presbyterian Church is a place where everyone is welcome! Some of our members are lifelong Presbyterians, but many come from other denominations or from no church background at all. Here is a place where we all can grow together and learn from one another. This is a place to explore your faith, to ask questions, and to experience the presence of God.

Our worship is meaningful and vibrant, with beautiful music and a warm spirit of fellowship. We have Christian Education opportunities for all ages.

This church enjoys fellowshipping with one another! We have a variety of fellowship opportunities throughout the year, including Salt Shakers small group dinners as well as gatherings for the entire congregation.

We care for one another in times of sadness and rejoice with one another in times of joy. Our parish nurse provides a health ministry for the congregation. But we are not a church that exists just for itself. We believe that we are called to reach out to the community around us and to meet the needs of others.

Every month, we deliver groceries to low-income senior citizens in our community. We also work one day a month at Manna House, a ministry that provides a good, hot meal to those in need. This church organizes and sponsors the annual CROP Walk, raising money for hunger causes in our community and world.

In many other ways, we work to share the good news of Jesus’ love with others. If you are looking for a new church home, or if you want to explore your faith in new ways, you are welcome here!
